Painters, sculptors, illustrators and jewellery makers will be present

Dubai International Art Centre will open its doors on January 12 to showcase the latest range of art activities available to the public.
The centre’s chairman Ayesha Chen McKeever said
, “It is a remarkable day of fun and art we will provide information about upcoming classes
on 70 courses which will begin on January 19. The best part of the experience is meeting curious art lovers including families and
collectors”.
Visitors will be able to interact closely with teach ers and artists while at work as well as try their hand at their favourite craft.
“Sharing the intimacy of the place where the artists work always feels very special, not only for artists but also for the visitors,”
stresses Ayesha.
More than 20 painters, sculptors, illustrators, jewellery makers,potters and fiber artists will open their studios to the public.
Adding an Emirati flavour will be a host of other activities such as henna painting, a Bedouin tent on the lawn with a camel and complimentary Arabic coffee/tea with dates served in the tent.Ayesha added, “Our Open House has always been very popular with families and turns out to be an amazing day for children who play around with colours, crafts and camels, pose for photos and discover new things”
