Younis Naoumi, the agent of the famous players and games in the sports circles, stressed that a distinction must be made between the sports mediator or the sports agent according to the old name and the organizing agent.
He added in an interview with Arabs Today that the mediator is working to facilitate employment contracts and transfers and follow the life cycle of football between the player, the coach and the club.
Younis Naoumi said that the agent of the organization of the matches is part of the exclusive organization of FIFA and its role is limited in organizing of international friendly matches or patrols. He added that this field has witnessed many legal developments after the 2014 reform.
He stressed that the primary objective of the laws and regulations is to protect the football game, which is based on the player, but the experience proved that the role of the agent remains pivotal in ensuring the rights of the player, coach and the club, especially with regard to contracts.
Regarding the obstacles of the sports agent, he explained that it is as any profession related to legal and technical consultation, adding that the mentality and immaturity in assessing the vitality and importance of the work of the mediator or agent are the most important obstacles to the profession.
