Karam Gaber guaranteed silver medal
Egyptian Karam Gaber is through to the 84kg Greco-Roman final at the London Games. The Egyptian defeated Polish wrestler Damian Janikowski 2-1 on Monday.
Gaber won Egypt's last gold medal back in 2004 at the Athens games against Turkish wrestler Mehmet Ozal.
Gaber is the second Egyptian medalist in the competition, along with Khaled Abouelkassem who won a silver medal in fencing. He will face Russian wrestler Alan Khugaev in the final tonight.
