The statements came during a press conference between the Saudi official and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres in Riyadh.

Jubeir added, “Over 70 agreements have been concluded with Houthi and Saleh, while they have not honored their commitment.” He justified the interference of the Arab Coalition, saying that the militias attempted to overthrow the legitimate government that asked for our help upon the UN rules. He added, “We interfered to save the legitimacy.”

He added, “The efforts exerted by the UN envoy to Yemen failed due to the positions adopted by Houthi militias and Saleh.” He stressed the need for ending the suffering of Yemeni people as soon as possible.
