Chairperson of Yemen's Tagammou Party for Reform Abdel Hafez Al Faqih survived from an assassination attempt in Taiz, as armed people shot his car injuring his driver.
The party condemned the attempt, saying that it aims to raise more chaos in the country andto challenge the current operation aiming to liberate the city from the militants. It revealed that Faqih was not existed inside the car during the failure attempt, saying that it led to the injury of driver who is currently in a critical conditions.
It added, in a statement, that such attempts Aim to impede the efforts to restore the Yemeni state, stressing that they will not prevent the party from resuming its way to support the operations to liberate the city and to consolidate the security there.
In the same context, Arab Coalition's fighter jets resumed its raids against the Houthi strongholds in Al Hadida governorate, as they targeted the buildings related to the Ministry of Communication, leading to the killing of two person and injury of others.
On the other hand, Yemen's President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi left Aden heading to Riyadh to attend a Saudi-Emirati meeting to discuss He recent developments in the country after the refusal of a military leader to leave his position in Aden Airport.
