For helping over million refugees ,World Food Program (WFP) confirmed the need for almost 113 millions dollars. Iraqi media presenter Suheir al-Qaisi and the vice president of the program Maha Ahmed from Erbil, Kurdistan ,also confirmed the need for urgent help . Head of Foreign Relations’ Department in Kurdistan , Falah Mustafa confirmed during a press conference ,that the region is hosting a huge number of refugees ,despite the financial problems they face, adding that they re-asked the Iraqi government and the organization for food, health and educational assistances for the refugees . He added that the region received more than 162,000 refugees from Mosul since last October, and there is a need to hold an international conference to discus humanitarian situations in Iraq. During the same conference , Suheir al-Qaisi said that displaced people walk long distances on foot without food or milk in Hammam al-'Alil area, and there are a lot of women with their children go through difficulties before they reach safe zones .She also demanded the international community to exert real effort instead of statements ,which will not solve any problems. On the other hand, Maha Ahmed stated that to secure food aids for such huge number of refugees ,they need at least 113 millions dollars .
