Tunisian security source revealed that the more dormant terrorist cells exist in coastal areas. Sousse ranked first over those provinces which embrace the dormant terrorist cells, followed by the capital Tunis, Monastir and Mahdia.
The source added that it's expected that these areas will witness upcoming movements of the extremists, adding that Tunisian security authorities are vigilant in these areas in particular.
The numbers of dismantled dormant cells are unknown according to the information available in this issue, however, sources stressed that their numbers range between 300 to 400 dormant cells.
Security sources and researchers, security and suggested that the extremist group that assassinated Chokri Belaid, led by its Amir Kamal Alqdkadhi is one of the dormant cells, but these groups trained very well after the revolution and they do not have a historical stretch before revolution, unlike the extremists group of Jund Asad Ebn al-Forat.
The extremist cells in Tunisia are planted in the society after the revolution over returning of the jihadists as well as some of them to leave prison.
Operations carried out by those cells have revealed that they are also witnessing development in the techniques and their ability to use the explosive material intensity and explosive belts in both Goubellat and Ben Aoun operations.
This is the biggest proof that these groups develops its activity today and after it was all the time trying to escape from the security prosecution and stealthy, they getting out to the public to practice their extreme activities without fear.
