A loud explosion was heard west of Aleppo after a fall of a shell on an area controlled by government forces in Jami'at Al-Zahra district, no human casualties reported. While the sound of explosions was heard in northern countryside of Aleppo because of mutual targets between militant factions and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), sources told Arab Todays. On the other hand, government forces also bombed areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo, without information on casualties.
The clashes renewed between government forces and loyal-militants, and ISIS militants, near Qasr al-Hayr al-Gharbi, amid mutual shelling between the two sides.
Many areas in DeirEzzor are experiencing and its surroundings, an intense bombardment by government forces, no human casualties reported.Russian and Syrian fighter jets carried out further strikes on areas in the outskirts of DeirEzzor city and other areas in the surroundings, in conjunction with clashes between government forces and ISIS militants with no casualties reported.
Meanwhile, a landmine was exploded in Al-Salamiyah district, western Syria, leaving one militant, believed to be loyal to the regime, killed. In addition, warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition bombed places in al-Tabaqa city west of Al-Raqqah, no information about casualties.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a girl was killed due to injuries she had in bombing by a helicopter believed to be Syrian on areas in Tedef town, which is controlled by the “Islamic State” organization. The Turkish artillery and aerial bombardment have killing and injured hundreds of people.
Clashes continue between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization in the southern countryside of al-Bab city, where the regime forces managed to achieve a new advancement and control the third village in the southern countryside which is about 8 km away of al-Bab city, where the regime forces took control of the village of Sheikh Dunn, after controlling in the 24 hours on the villages of Ein al-Jahsh and Bureij, easing to 20, the number of villages controlled since the start of their offensive in the 17th of January 2016, where the regime forces seeks through advancement attempts from the southwestern, southern and southeastern areas to towards al-Bab city to clamp down on the organization in the city.
The SOHR received information from several reliable sources that, in conjunction with the advancement of the regime forces towards the city from the southwestern and southern areas, and the Turkish forces and the “Euphrates Shield’s” surrounding of the city from the western, northern and northeastern areas, the “Islamic State” organization -which fiercely repelled the violent attacks by Turkish forces on the city earlier and killed and injured tens of soldiers of the Turkish Forces- have begun making preparations to withdraw from the city, which is the largest remaining strongholds in the countryside of Aleppo, out of fear of being besieged by the Turkish forces and the regime forces.
SOHR was informed that rebel and Islamic factions started to pull back from Al-Feja spring in Barada valley, at the same time dozens of soldiers in regime forces entered the area, it is still unknown whether they are police or soldiers, after raising the Syrian flag in the area, in order to begin the process of the agreement between regime forces and the notables of Barada valley.
SOHR learned that the regime forces continue to sweep the spring water area in Ain al-Fijah at WadiBarada in the northwest of Rif Dimashq, after tens of members of the regime forces have entered the area, while it is expected tomorrow for the process of transferring fighters who reject the agreement in WadiBarada to begin, they will be get outside of WadiBarada, while the area of WadiBarada is witnessing deteriorating humanitarian conditions associated with bad weather.
SOHR learned that Fateh al-Sham Front’s factions, HarakatNur al-Din Al-Zanki, Jaysh al-Sunna, Ansar al-Din Front, and al-Haq Brigade, they announced have announced their full and complete integration within a new body under name of Tahrir al-Sham body led by the engineer Abu HashemJaber Al-Sheikh”, after two days of an operation of joining by Fastaqim Kama Umirt the brigades, Soqur al-Sham, Jaysh al-Islam (Idlib sector), Jaysh al-Mujahideen, Levant Front (western countryside of Aleppo sector) for the ranks of the Islamic movement of Ahrar al-Sham, which was done with a joint statement welcomed by the last mentioned and warned of attacking any of the faction that joined them.
An uneasy calm is still prevailing the countryside of Idlib among the major factions of the area, after the fighting in Jabal al-Zawiyah and other areas in the northern countryside of Idlib and the outskirts of the western countryside of Aleppo between Fateh al-Sham Front against the Islamic factions that fall under the Islamic movement of Ahrar al-Sham.
