Iraqi security forces bombarded a number of targets before starting the military operations to liberate the right side of Mousl, as Popular Mobilization Forces managed to counter the second largest attack from ISIS on the western side of the city in cooperation with the Iraqi fighter keys.
The extremist group used dozens of suicide children during the attack against the areas liberated recently from the grip of the extremist group.
In the same context, International Coalition revealed that it trained over five thousand Iraqis to help them keep the librated areas in the eastern side of Mousl and to provide support for the coming operations scheduled to witnessed on the city's right bank.
According to sources, the training process has been conducted in Baghdad's cities of Tagi and Basmaia in addition to Arbil and Assad Air Base in Anbar province. The sources stressed the importance of the role of these forces to protect the liberated areas from any potential attacks from the extremist group to distract attention from the operations in the other side of the Iraqi city.
On its hand, Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) revealed in a statement that it managed to counter the second largest attack from ISIS on Telaffar, as they clashes with them for five hours. It added that the attack comes in the framework of the attempts of the leaders of the extremist group to dissolve the siege imposed against them and to escape to Syria.
It clarified that ISIS withdrew 70 elements of its militants to use them in the attack, signalling that they used dozens of children to conduct suicide attacks. It added that they managed to kill over 15 leaders of the extremist group, including Abu Mariam Al Jabori.
In Kirkuk, a source revealed the killing of a Peshmerga militant and the injury of another one during clashes near Sakhra village, as the Kurdish troops bombarded the group's headquarters in Kirkuk in coordination with the International Coalition. They killed over 20 extremist militants and destroyed five car bombs.
