President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Political Bureau of the "Hamas," Khaled Meshaal
Gaza – Mohammed Habeeb

President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Political Bureau of the "Hamas," Khaled Meshaal Gaza – Mohammed Habeeb Palestinians are looking forward for the meeting that will bring together the  Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Political Bureau of the "Hamas," Khaled Meshaal in Cairo , which is expected to be the end of this month, and the Palestinian hope to put an end to the division miserable between the two parts of the country and establishes a national strategy acceptable to all parties and has also been announced on the agenda of the meeting, the two points: the first is the future of the Palestinian Authority, and the second general elections.
There will be more talks about the future and the possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state. It is feared by many Palestinians to devote survival of the regime of self-government in the West Bank, a lasting political solution to the Palestinian cause, especially after the separation of the Gaza Strip under a different political system run by the Hamas.
Youssef Rizqa, Prime Minister’s political advisor  in Gaza told  "Arabs today," "that the Palestinian Authority fell down and ended the day it failed to achieve national objectives, and when established corrupted regime who stole the nation’s money’’
According Rizqa that there is common ground between the Arab regimes and the Palestinian Authority, saying that the Arab regime that is inhabited by dictatorship, corruption and reliance on the security services in the suppression of the people and the suppression of the opposition, and inhabited by also humiliating subordination to the West and Washington.
The member of the Fateh’s  Central Committee, Azzam Al-Ahmed: “The Palestinian Authority is an  interim authority ,and was established to be a transitional authority until a final agreement to establish an independent state” He added: “the Interim Agreement, was only for five years, and the period ended in 1999.”
According to Al-Ahmad said the survival of the palestinian authority  in its present form and functions of the current is not possible in the event of the end of the two-state solution. He asked: “Are we under the authority of the occupation, or are we controled by occupatio, or authority, on its way to becoming a State, or are we a tool in the hands of the occupation, such as the South Lebanese Army earlier?”
Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas and Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal are to meet in Cairo on November 24 for new reconciliation talks, a member of Abbas’ entourage said in Tunis.
“There is agreement on the date of November 24” for the high-stakes meeting, the official, who is close to the Palestinian president, told AFP on a visit to the Tunisian capital Friday.
An official in Abbas’ Fatah movement, Azzam al-Ahmad, had said Thursday that Abbas and Meshaal would meet before the end of the month, without specifying the date.
He said the meeting would focus on “Palestinian unity, future Palestinian strategy, the Palestine Liberation Organization and future prospects.”
Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, is not a member of the Fatah-dominated PLO.
The secular Fatah signed an unexpected reconciliation deal with the militant Islamist Hamas in May under which they were to have set up a caretaker government of independents to prepare for elections within a year.
But the agreement has never been implemented, with both sides bickering over the composition of the interim government and who should head it.
Abbas’s West Bank-based Palestinian Authority has proposed elections in January in a bid to resolve the dispute.
The last time the Palestinians went to the polls was for parliamentary elections in 2006, which Hamas won by a landslide.
New parliamentary and presidential elections had been due in January 2010, but the Palestinian Authority abandoned efforts to hold a vote after Hamas refused to organize one in Gaza.
Mahomoud Abbas has confirmed that reconciliation is considered in his top priorities, which will be discussed during his meeting with Hamas leader, Khalid Meshaal.
He announced during press statements after his meeting with the Tunisian transitional government that he will meet with Meshaal within 10 days.
He confirmed that fair elections will have the last word for all the Palestinians.
He added: “the meeting was a good opportunity to strengthen the Palestinian- Tunisian relations, and confirm our keen to improve it.”
He said: “we always have lots of issues on our agenda when we come to visit Tunisia.”
He also confirmed that they will not return to the negotiations without a guarantor and immediate stop to the settlement expansion.
On the other hand, Azzam al-Ahmad Central Committee member of the Fatah movement has confirmed that the meeting to be held between President Mahmoud Abbas and the President of the political bureau of Hamas, Khaled Meshaal, will be at the end of this month in Cairo.
Azzam al-Ahmad told ‘Al-resalah’ local newspaper, issued in Gaza: "we communicate with Hamas to set up an appointment to meet with Abu Mazen and Abu Al-Waleed, and it is expected to be at the end of this month in Cairo, coordination is still ongoing.”
Al-Ahmed said that the meeting will discuss the Palestinia
n political situation, the future of the Palestinian Authority in general and the status of the PLO, saying that Abbas will listen and  discuss  with Meshaal a Palestinian vision to resolve the crisis in light of the stalled negotiations and the settlements continuous expansion in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Al-Ahmad added that the delegations from Hamas and Fatah lead by Fatah and Moussa Abu Marzouk from Hamas would hold talks in Cairo regarding the reconciliation, he said: “delegations will hold talks in parallel with Meshaal and Abu Mazen meeting to discuss the obstacles and ways to implement the reconciliation on the ground
Al-Ahmed called on the Palestinians to be prepared during the current phase to defend their rights, end the occupation and the establishment of a Palestinian state, stressing that the meeting Meshaal and Abbas, enhancing the power of the Palestinian position to face the challenges in light of Israeli intransigence.
He concluded that the focus during the meeting will be on the reconciliation, and the implantation of the main points represented in a new transitional government, the legislative and presidential elections and the National Council according to the agreement, which was after the revolution of Egypt.
