Iraqi forces continued its advance in the Old City, in the left side of the city of Mosul, on Thursday, and took control of several areas in it, while which, while Iraqi jets managed to destroy a camp and booby-trapping's plant belonging to ISIS organization.
On the other hand, the spokesman of the international coalition, John Dourean, revealed that the numbers of ISIS's militants in Mosul are about 2,000 elements, stressing that this number drops day by day.
Commander of Federal Police Forces (FPF) Gen. Raid Shaker Jawdat declared, in a press statement on Thursday, that FPF's jets destroyed dozens of ISIS's mobile and fixed targets in the vicinity of Manarat Al-Hadbaa.
The forces will continue pushing ISIS out of the city, and the terrorists will be stripped of all the ground they acquired, FPF leader said.
According to the statement, displaced families in Bab Al-Tub and the train station have been moved to southern Mosul since the forces are advancing on Bab Al-Bid in the western parts of Mosul's old city.
In the same context, the Commander of the army’s 7th brigade, Major General Numan Abd al-Zawei, announced on Thursday, that security troops destroyed a camp and an explosives factory belonging to the Islamic State group, west of Anbar.
Zawei said in a press statement that Iraqi Army Aviation bombarded a camp, an explosives factory and four strongholds belonging to the Islamic state in al-Madham area, southwest of Anah City (210 km west of Anbar).
"The aerial bombardment completely destroyed the camp, explosives factory and strongholds, as well as killing a number of IS terrorists," Zawei added.
On the other hand, the presidency of the Iraqi parliament decided to adjourn the session, Thursday, until next week. According to a parliamentary source, it was scheduled to the parliment to host Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, but the latter did not attend, noting that the presidency of the Council set March 30, as date for the questioning of the Minister of Health, Adila Hammoud.
