Hezbollah fighters at a military show Beirut – Georges Chahine News circulated on Friday that five members of Hezbollah had been accused of being Israeli agents. The report said that the five arrested are military leaders in the country’s south. They are thought to be linked to the three leaders arrested earlier this year. One of the accused, Abu Abed Saleem, is believed to have fled to Israel through Lebanon’s southern border with a large amount of cash. Saleem is also accused of selling large quantities of weapons into Syria through a smuggling network. Hezbollah’s media liason released a statement on Thursday night denying the charges. The group also claimed that they did not have a member under the name of Abu Abed Saleem.
