The explosion killed 15 people
A bomb blast in northern Pakistan killed at least 15 people, including two children, on Thursday. The explosion took place near a bus station in Peshawar. Despite the occurrence of sporadic attacks against
the security forces guarding the city, nobody has claimed responsibility yet. However accusations have been directed to the Pakistani Taliban, who carried out similar attacks in the country before.
Meanwhile, Jamil Shah, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health said that the attack resulted in the injury of 35 persons, including women and children. While another government official said that the explosives were planted in a white car parked in a bus station and it caused the explosion of other 20 cars. Nearly 90 pounds of explosives were used in the attack.
The Pakistani Information Minister said that security forces set a tight cordon around Peshawar, but admitted that militants infiltrated across the region.
