Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, Advisor to Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, launched a strong attack on the Yay alliance and calling the parties "cartoon-like", as he emphasized his party's position
the need for street protests to abide by the rule of law.
Speaking from a political forum at the University of Niles, he critisised some opposition figures for derailing the reform process and inisted the ruling party was ready to move forward.
Ismail called the International Criminal Court as "racist", saying it only tried African leaders and ignored others and insisted Sudan would ignore it,adding that those who expect President Bashir to face trial are to face a long and disappointing wait.
During his talk he also attacked leftist parties who he said where under the influence of the West accusing it of being behind the countries woes. He said that only elections would bring about a party that can offer positive to the country and said his party was ready to engage with any foreign country that was not looking to interfere in its internal affairs. He finally called on all those engaged in violence to stop and work together to improve Sudanese society.
And attacked the left parties, on the spin in the orbit of the West, considering it the cause of the country's problems present, however, aimed Suadtha the ruling party, and has no program to offer to the people's call to drop the system, which can not be shot down, but through elections, and stressed that Khartoum will deal with any state that does not interfere in their internal affairs, next to continue the dialogue with the West, but according to interests, calling for a renunciation of violence, and leading change in society.
