Yemeni sources revealed that explosions have been heard in the Yemeni capital of Sana'a, adding that the Yemeni army launched artillery attack against the strongholds of Houthi militias in the northern area of the capital near Sana'a Airport.
The Arab Coalition's air defense intercepted a ballistic missile launched by Houthi militias and other forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh. According to a statement from the Arab Coalition, the missile was intercepted with no damages.
The statement added that 12 militants have been killed during their attempt to infiltrate to the areas controlled by the Yemeni governmental troops in the southern side of Taiz governorate, while a number of others have been injured.
In Riyadh, Spokesperson of Arab Coalition Ahmed Essiry denied what was published over the coalition's request to the United Nations to protect Hadida Port. He added that it is the responsibility of the United Nations to supervise the report not to be used in any attacks.
The Arab Coalition's fighter jets threw publication in the cities controlled by the militants, including Sana'a, Serwah and Karen calling the young people for cooperating with the legitimate troops. Meanwhile, the governmental troops still celebrate their victory in the eastern side of Sana'a.
The publications called the Yemeni young people for joining the legitimate troops loyal to President Abdel Rabbu Mansour Hadi. They demanded them to abandon their weapons, underlining the notable advance the Yemeni army achieved in the different fronts.
