Iraqi security forces At least 13 people are killed as Iraqi security forces end the siege at the local government compound on Monday, police have said. Earlier gunmen stormed a police headquarters in a western Iraqi town , taking hostage up to 15 senior officials and policemen, officials say. A police source said the attackers had taken hostage the police chief and the mayor of the town, located in Anbar province, about 150km northwest of Baghdad.
