'Immortals' tops DVD sales, rental charts

"Immortals," a fantasy flick inspired by Greek mythology, is the top-selling DVD and No. 1 rental in the United States, Rentrak announced Thursday. Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD sales chart for the week ending March 11 is "Game of Thrones: The Complete First Season," followed by "Jack and Jill" at No. 3, "Footloose" at No. 4 and "Puss in Boots" at No. 5. Rounding out the top tier are "Barbie in A Mermaid 2" at No. 6, "Hugo" at No. 7, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1" at No. 8, "The Lion King II: Simba's Pride" at No. 9 and "Tooth Fairy 2" at No. 10. The No. 1 DVD rental the week ended March 10 is "Hugo." "Jack and Jill" is No. 2, "Tower Heist" is No. 3, "Footloose" is No. 4, Puss in Boots" is No. 5, "Hugo" is No. 6, "In Time" is No. 7, "J. Edgar" is No. 8, "The Rum Diary" is No. 9 and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" is No. 10.
