Director of Public Relations at Luxor International Airport Bekheit Khairi said a delegation of top students at the Egyptology departments in the German universities arrived here on a visit to Luxor's tourism and archaeological sites.
Director of Tourism and Antiquity Police General Hosny Hussein said the 15-member delegation will stay for two days and will make visits to the tombs, ancient city and museums in the eastern and western coasts of Luxor.
The delegation's visit to Luxor comes at an invitation from the Tourism Promotion Authority in Luxor and the Tourism Ministry to uncover the correct image about tourism in Egypt and reflect the safety and stability of the governorate, he added.
The visit also comes as part of the state's efforts to promote for tourism in Luxor and bring to normal the tourism activity in the ancient city, he said.
