David Thorne, a senior Advisor to US Secretary of State john Kerry will start a tour of the region on Sunday including Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Cairo and Luxor.
During his tour, Thorne will discuss regional economic issues in addition to the latest developments of the Egyptian economy, US Department of State announced in a statement on Friday.
Thorne will arrive in Cairo on February 9 for talks with senior Egyptian officials and businessmen along with representatives of US companies operating in Egypt on economic issues, the statement said.
Thorne will head for Luxor on February 11 to meet with officials there and visit the projects funded by the US Agency for International Development along with a number of archaeological sites, the statement added.
