Flydubai has added a new Boeing 737-NG800 to its existing fleet. The new aircraft is the latest delivery from the order of 50 Boeing 737-NG800 placed by flydubai in 2008, the last of which will be delivered in 2016. The aircraft arrived at Dubai's Terminal 2 after making the journey from the manufacturer's base at Payne Field, Seattle via the Lumexis base in Califormia. The new aircraft is flydubai's tenth to be fitted with Boeing's new Sky Interior and Lumexis Fibre-To-The-Screen in-flight entertainment system. Flydubai CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said: "With the expansion of our fleet and investment in the best and latest technologies, we are able to support the airline's sustained growth, whilst ensuring travel in a cost efficient manner."
