The Egyptian Embassy in Germany is organizing a tourism business forum Monday, with 120 German travel agencies taking part.
The forum is meant to increase the flow of German tourism to Egypt, said Badr Abdel Aati, the Egyptian ambassador in Berlin.
Germany is an important exporter of tourists to Egypt, Abdel Aati said, noting that the flow of German tourists was the least harmed after the Russian plane crash in Sinai in October 2015.
He attributed that to continued efforts by the embassy with German authorities concerned to maintain the influx of tourists to Egypt.
The forum will shed light on the best tourist attractions in Egypt and safety measures at Egyptian airports, Abdel Aati said.
