EgyptAir will increase the number of its flights operated from Cairo to Baghdad to four weekly.
This comes in light of the increasing turnout on the company's flights and bookings expected to soar in the summer where passengers will consider Cairo as a transit to the European and African countries.
The Regional Director of EgyptAir Office in Baghdad Ahmed el Sayed told MENA corespondent here on Monday that the firm organized a meeting with the tourist and Arab aviation companies in Iraq to overcome the fierce competition between them.
Our flights will be booked all the summer season, he underlined.
The companies were notified that a fourth flight will be added from Baghdad to Cairo on Wednesday starting from July, the official reiterated.
El Sayed said also that the company seeks organizing flights from Iraq's Basra and Cairo, adding that the Egyptian Ambassador here Ahmed Darwish exerts utmost efforts to render this idea successful.
