EgyptAir will open on Wednesday a new branch for its regional office in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa.
The new branch will be based at the headquarters of the African Union (AU) Commission.
Ambassadors of member states of the AU, Egypt's Ambassador in Addis Ababa Abu Bakr el Hefny and EgyptAir staff will attend the opening, said a statement by the Commission's spokesperson.
The move comes as part of an EgyptAir plan to expand its offices.
The national flag carrier opened its first office in Ethiopia in 1995.
