Abu Dhabi Aviation Co., the MENA's biggest helicopter operator, is an official sponsor of the new version of Abu Dhabi Dessert Challenge 2016 to kick off next from 2nd-7th April under the auspices of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region.
Nader Ahmed Al Hammadi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Aviation, said, "We are pleased to join Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2016. Abu Dhabi Aviation is keen on supporting sports and sportsmen; it has not missed this event for years. Abu Dhabi sees a paradigm shift in hosting international competitions. This is a translation of the instructions of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces."
According to Al Hammadi, ADA will provide three Bell412 helicopters to provide logistic support, ambulance and medical evacuation services in addition to searching and rescue services. The helicopters will provide an air cover for safety and protection of over 150 rallyists from across the world.
ADA seeks to provide security elements for the success of such major sports event, he said commending the ADA's state-of-the-art helicopters and experienced pilots and engineers.

Abu Dhabi Aviation is an award-winning national joint stock company that owns 64 aircraft including 60 helicopters and 4 fixed-wing aircraft. The Company received many world safety awards including the Platinum Program of Safety Award from the Helicopter Association International.
