Author and poet Sangi explores the depths of her subconscious to offer a deeper understanding of the human condition in her accessible new poetry collection, “Serendipity” (published by AuthorHouse UK).
Presented in chronological order, each poem in “Serendipity” includes the date it was written, spanning from 1998 to 2014. Photographs are interspersed throughout, and Sangi ruminates on a wealth of life experiences including heartbreak, forgiveness and redemption.
“Some poems in this collection are directly related to specific true events, however so many of them I look at and wonder – was it really me who wrote them?” Sangi says. “They take me by surprise even now.”
An excerpt from the poem “Solace”:
“And so it begins…the quintessence that is the solace
we seek in life. Longing for it to be a permanent
fixture in our soul. Should you find the hidden gem,
do help me find the unrevealed path to it.”
