Egyptian actor Amr Yosef travels to Kenya with the cast of "Al Montaqem" (The Revenge Seeker) to film there for a week. "Filfan.com" reported that the cast will travel at the end May 2012. Amr noted they finished 50 hours of filming, as more than half of the series, which is 150 episodes long. The actor noted the series is only one season, and will begin showing after Ramadan 2012. The series idea was taken from the novel "The Count of Monte Cristo" by French novelist Alexandre Dumas. Amr plays the central role of Omar Fouad, who deals with a lot of corruption then seeks revenge. The series tackles many corruption cases in the last 10 years, and ends when the former president is removed from office. The series is directed by Syrian director Hatem Ali and Egyptian director Ahmed Fawzy. The scenario was written by Hesham Helal, Mariam Salem and Mustafa Hamdi. Also starring is Horeyya Farghali, Enas Kamel, Ahmed El Saadani and Mohamed Abo Daoud. From: Anayou
