Rutina Wesley, the actress who appeared in "True Blood" as Tara, wasn't out of a job too long after the HBO series ended. She's just been cast for a role in the third season of "Hannibal."
Wesley will play Reba McClane, a blind woman who who catches the eye of Francis Dolarhyde (Richard Armitage). The character stems from Thomas Harris' novel, Red Dragon, upon which the NBC television series is based.
Joan Allen played the character in Manhunter in 1986 and Emily Watson played it in Red Dragon in 2002.
"Hannibal" returns to the small screen this summer. It's Wesley's first role since "True Blood" ended in the summer of 2014.
