We are well aware that Katrina Kaif is part of Karan Johar’s Dream Team concert in the USA. But did you know that her ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor was also approached to be a part of Dream Team? Well yes, Ranbir was also originally going to be a part of Dream Team, but when he came to know that Karan had included Katrina he decided to step down.
According to reports, Karan wants the most saleable couple of tinsel town to patch up, he is trying to play cupid in BTown these days.
Says a source from Dharma Production, “Karan approached Ranbir to play hockey legend Dhyan Chand’s biopic. Buzz is that KJo wanted Kat to play Dhyan Chand’s wife but Ranbir didn’t like the idea of roping in Katrina for the biopic and turned down the offer.
We heard that Ranbir’s mom Neetu Kapoor is unhappy with Karan for making efforts on Ran-Kat reconciliation. Speculations were also rife that Neetu wasn’t happy with Kat’s controlling nature. Neetu was upset when her son decided to move out of his family home and live with Katrina in a new apartment. But now after parting ways, he has bought a new house in Bandra’s Pali Hill area. SRK’s better half Gauri Khan is designing Ranbir’s abode.
Also, Ranbir is all set to play Sanjay Dutt in the much awaited biopic by filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. While the team has not yet zeroed in on the female lead of the movie, as per an insider Dutt is very keen that Katrina should play the female lead in the movie, probably Maanyata Dutt. What do you think of them working together in Dutt’s biopic?
