Prince will release two new albums on September 30.
The 56-year-old musician will debut Art Official Age, his first solo album in four years, and Plectrum Electrum with band 3rd Eye Girl. 3rd Eye Girl members Donna Grantis, Hannah Ford Welton and Ida Nielsen made the announcement Monday on Good Morning America.
"It's such an incredible learning experience," the band relayed. "Everyone knows the genius of Prince, so to be able to be hands-on on a daily basis, playing with the best musicians in the world and becoming a family ... We're really tight and it makes the music that much better because it comes through."
Prince's last solo album, 20Ten, debuted in limited release in 2010. Art Official Age will be his thirty-third studio album, and is available for pre-order with Plectrum Electrum now.
