Kirsten Dunst and Ted Danson star in the first Fargo season 2 teaser trailers.
"Curl Up N' Dye" introduces the 33-year-old actress as Peggy Blomquist, an ambitious beautician married to small town butcher Ed (Jesse Plemons). The preview sees the character distractedly wash her hands of blood-red hair dye as she attends to a client in her shop.
"Break Time's Over" features Danson as sheriff Hank Larsson and exchanges Keith Carradine for Patrick Wilson as state trooper Lou Solverson. The scene plays up the snowy Minnesota landscape as the pair meet in their patrol cars for a quick coffee break.
Season 1 premiered on FX in April 2014, and starred Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman as Lorne Malvo and Lester Nygaard. Season 2 will take place 27 years prior in 1979, and follow Lou, a Vietnam War veteran, as he investigates a crime involving a local gang.
Fargo season 1 won several awards, including an Emmy for Outstanding Miniseries and a Golden Globe for Best Miniseries or Television Film. The series is inspired by the 1996 Coen brothers film Fargo, and will return for a second season in September.
