Kim Kardashian West said that being held at gunpoint during a Paris jewelry heist last year “was meant to happen.”
Kardashian told Ellen DeGeneres on Thursday’s episode of the comedian’s chat show that she is “such a different person” after the October robbery.
She said she was “definitely materialistic” before being robbed, but now she does not care about things like jewelry.
Kardashian said that there is nothing inherently “bad with having things and working hard to get those things, and I’m really proud of everyone around me that’s successful.”
But, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said: “I’m so happy that my kids get “this” me and that this is who I’m raising my kids as. Cause I just don’t care about that stuff anymore. I really don’t,” Enews reported.
