British actress Julia Ormond is to star in Syfy's Incorporated, a futuristic, espionage-thriller pilot from Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's Pearl Street Productions.
Ormond is known for her roles in the films Sabrina, First Knight, Legends of the Fall and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, as well as in HBO's Temple Grandin.
"Set in a future where companies have seemingly unlimited power, Incorporated centers around Ben Larson, a young executive who risks everything to infiltrate an all-controlling corporate world and save the woman he loves. In the process, he will take on the entire system -- with deadly consequences," a synopsis said.
Syfy greenlit the pilot in April and the production is scheduled to start filming later this year. Previously announced cast members include Sean Teale, Georgina Haig and Eddie Ramos.
Incorporated was created by David and Alex Pastor, who wrote and will direct the pilot. Ted Humphrey will serve as executive producer/showrunner, with Damon, Affleck and Jennifer Todd also executive producing. Pearl Street's Margaret Chernin will serve as associate producer.
