The record production company ‘Platinum Records’, which is a member of ‘MBC Group’, announced the signing of a new contract with Lebanese singer Joe Ashkar. The contract states that the company will be responsible for distributing Joe’s new album in the Arab Gulf countries. The company stated that it is preparing for launching Joe’s album in the very near future and the album will include a song in the Khaliji (Gulf) dialect for the first time in his singing career. The song is expected to be a huge surprise to fans throughout the Arab world. According to the London based Elaph, Joe considered that through signing the contract with ‘Platinum Records’, he has achieved one of his goals in his singing career, which he had previously announced at the beginning of the current year. Joe said that ‘Platinum Records’ is considered to be one of the most powerful music production companies in the Gulf region and having his new album distributed by them will bring him closer to his fans specifically in the Gulf.
