Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is pushing for a Can't Hardly Wait sequel.
The 36-year-old star shared her interest in the potential project with her nearly 1 million Twitter followers Sunday. Hewitt was inspired by a weekend showing of the original film at the Cinespia in Los Angeles.
"So proud to have been a part of this movie! #CantHardlyWait @cinespia," she captioned a profile of her character from the movie, Amanda Beckett. "Can't Hardly Wait reunion movie anyone? Let's get them to make it!"
Hewitt starred in the 1998 teen comedy alongside Ethan Embry as Preston Meyers, Charlie Korsmo as William Lichter, Lauren Ambrose as Denise Fleming, Peter Facinelli as Mike Dexter and Seth Green as Kenny Fisher. The film centers on a group of seniors at a high school graduation party.
