The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has revealed the inductees for its 2015 class.
Ringo Starr, The "5" Royals, The Paul Butterflied Blues Band, Green Day, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Lou Reed, Stevie Ray & Double Trouble ad Bill Withers will be inducted in the legendary Hall of Fame in the spring.
The six acts were selected from a list of 15 nominees featuring the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Sting, Kraftwerk, The Smiths, Chic, the Marvelettes, N.W.A., the Spinners and War.
"As we mark 30 years of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions, we're proud to honor these artists," Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation President Joel Peresman said in a statement. "These Inductees epitomize rock and roll's impact over the past 50 years and continuing through today."
The induction ceremony will take place at the Hall's headquarters in Cleveland on April 12. The event will be open to the public and tickets go on sale Dec. 18.
