Parineeti Chopra, who underwent a makeover of sorts by shedding some serious kilos, is all set for her silver screen comeback with ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. But we hear, after doing an item song with Varun Dhawan in his upcoming film ‘Dhisoom’, the actress is keen to bag projects with A-list stars, especially Salman Khan.
As per the grapevine, Parineeti is keen to work with Dabangg Khan, seeing his box-office records. In fact, her manager has been trying to fix a meeting with him to work out the possibility of a film together. However, as of now, nothing has cemented because Khan has been busy with the pre-production of ‘Tubelight’ which is based on Indo-Sino war.
Last year, there was buzz that Parineeti might feature alongside Salman in ‘Sultan’ but the project went to Anushka Sharma. Pari had later quashed the rumors, stating that she was never offered the film.
These days Chopra Junior has been on a crammed schedule in Kolkata shooting for ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ with Ayushmann Khurrana. And after her miraculous makeover, every film-maker wants to work with her. Recently, director Shoojit Sircar sent her a script to read for his next film. With the success and accolades of ‘Piku’ behind him, rumor has it that Shoojit is planning to direct a women-centric film based on three generations.
As per the reports, “the director is keen to cast Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Rani Mukerji and Parineeti in it and has already sent them the script. This might entice the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress as she hasn’t worked in a three-heroine film since ‘Ladies vs Vicky Bahl’. The trio will portray powerful characters bound together by family ties and if Shoojit gets all of them on board it will be quite a casting coup.”
