Charlie Sheen will reprise his Ferris Bueller role on The Goldbergs.
The 49-year-old actor will pay homage to "Boy in the Police Station" on an upcoming episode of the ABC sitcom. Sheen first portrayed the character in John Hughes' 1986 film Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
"Boy in the Police Station" speaks to Jeanie Bueller (Jennifer Grey) after she is arrested for filing a false police report. The Goldbergs episode will see Barry (Troy Gentile) attempt to fake sick, and Erica (Hayley Orrantia) meet Sheen's character in a similar situation.
The Goldbergs is in the midst of a second season, and airs Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET. The show is set in the 1980s, and follows Murray (Jeff Garlin) and Beverly Goldberg (Wendi McLendon-Covey) and their three children, Barry, Erica and Adam (Sean Giambrone).
Sheen currently stars as Charlie Goodson on FX series Anger Management, which will air its final episode Dec. 22. The actor previously portrayed Charlie Harper on CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men, and is rumored to return for the show's finale.
