Bruce Springsteen has shown that his famous stamina runs in the family, with his 90-year-old mother delighting fans at one of the rock legend's shows by shaking her rump.
Springsteen was playing a sold-out show at New York's Madison Square Garden on Monday night when he pointed out his mother Adele in a nearby section.
Still rocking out to an extended jam of "Ramrod" from his classic 1980 album "The River," Springsteen walked through the crowd while playing his guitar to find her, according to a video posted by a fan online.
Springsteen danced face-to-face across from his mother, who appeared upbeat and sprightly despite her age, the loud volume and the packed crowd.
The rocker then turned around to shake his rear for the audience's cameras and his mother, at first bashfully, followed suit with a smile.
"She's still got the moves!" Springsteen shouted after kissing her and running back onto stage.
Springsteen, 66, is known to have a close relationship with his mother even though he had strained ties with his father as he grew up in New Jersey.
Springsteen has said that his mother, a secretary, took out a loan for his 16th birthday so he could buy the $60 Kent guitar on which he launched his career.
"The Boss," known for his tales of working-class life in America, is legendary for his energy in concerts which often run for hours without a letup in his enthusiasm.
