A Kurdish source said the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Nechirvan Barzani will visit Baghdad mid-week to meet with Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.
The source said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "Barzani will discuss with Abadi outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil."
He added, "The visit was scheduled to take place during past few days, but was delayed because of the French president's visit to Iraq."
He continued, "The two sides will discuss the general budget and the share of the Kurdistan region, along with the salaries of the staff of the province, the application of Article 140 of the Constitution, the arming of the Peshmerga forces and the payment paid as part of the Iraqi defense system"
