Egyptian Ambassador to Malaysia Salah el Weseimy received on Thursday a five-member Malaysian press delegation nominated by the media counselor of the Malaysian Foreign Minister.
In a press statement on Thursday, Weseimy said that the meeting comes within the framework of the preparation for the Malaysian delegation's ten-day visit to Egypt, to start on April 20.
The visit comes upon an invitation from the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority in order to see Egypt's ancient landmarks in Cairo, Giza, Luxor and Aswan, he added.
Also, they will visit the Suez Canal with the purpose of increasing the number of tourists coming from Malaysia and South-East Asian countries to Egypt, Weseimy noted.
During the meeting, the Egyptian Ambassador reviewed the state of security and stability Egypt has been enjoying since the fulfillment of the road-map.
