Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will receive on Saturday visiting deputy foreign minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Frank Malila.
The meeting is expected to focus on means of boosting bilateral ties, as well as regional issues of mutual concern.
They will also discuss means of achieving sustainable development in Africa and combating terrorism.
Malila arrived in Cairo Thursday on a three-day visit to Egypt.
He held plenary talks with diplomats at the Foreign Ministry and representatives of the ministries of international cooperation, electricity and irrigation, along with representatives of major Egyptian companies operating in Africa.
The talks tackled the under-construction project of Inga dams.
