Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for neighboring countries' affairs Osama el Magdoub will start an official visit to Sudan on March 28 through 30.
In statement to MENA on Friday, Egyptian Ambassador in Khartoum Osama Shaltout said the visit aims at holding consultations with the Sudanese side on ongoing preparations for the meetings of the Egyptian-Sudanese presidential committee, to be held this year in Cairo.
The visit will include meetings with Sudanese senior officials to review the Egyptian-Sudanese ties and ways of boosting them, Shaltout added.
The assistant foreign minister will also confer with members of the Sudanese national dialogue committee (also known as 7+7 mechanism), he noted.
