The Cairo Criminal Court on Tuesday postponed the trial of former interior minister Habib el Adly and 12 other co-defendants to January 10 over charges of profiteering and squandering public funds worth two billion pounds during the period 2000-2011.
The court's decision was meant to listen to the arguments starting with that of the prosecution.
The court meanwhile allowed Adly and other two defendants to receive medical treatment in hospital.
