A consultative meeting grouping the Arab League (AL) permanent representatives will be held on January 10 at the AL general secretariat headquarters.
The meeting will be attended by AL Special Envoy to Libya Salaheddine Jamali.
An Arab diplomatic source told MENA on Monday that the permanent representatives will tackle conditions in Libya and the efforts exerted to settle the Libyan crisis via political solution.
The AL announced in November appointing Jamali as the AL special envoy to Libya to enhance the role of the pan-Arab body in solving the Libyan crisis and support the presidential council of national reconciliation government.
Meanwhile, a consultative meeting for the AL permanent representatives will be held Wednesday on Syria in the presence of United Nations Deputy Special Envoy for Syria Ramzy Ezzeldin to probe the latest developments in the violence-hit country.
