Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil and Finnish Minister of Trade and International Cooperation Kai Mykk?nen will co-inaugurate the Egyptian-Finnish Forum on Tuesday.
In a statement released on Monday, Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) Ahmed el Wakil said the forum will review investment opportunities in Egypt and meetings with Finnish companies and their Egyptian counterparts.
The visiting Finnish minister and his accompanying delegation will meet with Egyptian ministers of planning, housing, international cooperation, transportation, environment, as well as chairman of the Suez Canal Axis project and others.
Meetings between officials from both sides will cover the sectors of communication, information technology, education, technical and vocational training, agriculture, irrigation, electricity and mining, FEDCOC chairman noted.
Wakil also said talks with the Finnish delegation would aim at increasing trade exchange and joint investments especially which target exportation to free trade areas in Africa and Arab countries.
