Palestinian Ambassador in Cairo Jamal al Shobaky said Wednesday that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will visit Egypt on Friday.
Abbas will stop in Cairo on his way back home from South Africa, Shobaky said, adding that he will attend a meeting of Arab foreign ministers, slated for Saturday in the Egyptian capital.
Abbas will post the Arab foreign ministers on the latest Palestinian developments during a session to be held on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting, Shobaky said.
The Palestinian president is also scheduled to meet with Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby during his two-day visit to Egypt, Shobaky added.
