A national conference for youth will kick off in the Egyptian Red Sea resort city of Sharm el Sheikh Tuesday under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The conference is a serious try to start a dialogue between the state and youth at the political, scientific and cultural levels, said Fatma Ragab, the official spokesperson for the "For the Love of Egypt" list.
Hopefully, the conference would adopt the ideas of at least three or four youth, Ragab said.
She urged the political powers to unite and not act to escalate crises.
Ragab also called on the president to please listen to views of the youth, whether his supporters or criticizers.
She also hoped that youth would come up with out-of-the-box solutions to develop the country.
