The administrative prisoner, journalist Mohamed al-Qiq is due to be released from Nafha Israeli prison next Thursday, after about six months in prison.
Al-Qid had launched a three month hunger striker protesting his detention, and suspended his strike so that he is released in May.
In a brief statement, the family affirmed that their son is scheduled to be released on May 19.
Al-Qiq, who worked for a Saudi media outlet, was arrested from his home on November 21, 2015 and began his hunger strike on 25 November last year.
Administrative detention allows Israeli authorities to keep prisoners in jail for renewable six-months without any charges.
