Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will pay an official visit to Russia from March 27 to 28 and will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin press service said on Thursday.
"During the talks, the heads of state plan to consider a whole range of issues of the Russian-Iranian cooperation on March 28," the press service said.
The two leaders will discuss the prospects of boosting trade and economic and investment ties, including "in the context of implementing major joint projects in energy and transport infrastructure." They will also exchange views on the vital issues of global and regional agenda and sign a number of bilateral agreements, the Kremlin's statement added.
