French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault will hold a meeting Saturday with families of victims of an EgyptAir plane that crashed into the Mediterranean early Thursday.
The Egyptian Ambassador in Paris, Ehab Badawi, will attend the meeting.
French Foreign Ministry spokesman Romain Nadal said that Ayrault will brief the victims' families on the outcome of the search operations carried out by France, Egypt and Greece.
Nadal added that French Transport Minister Alain Vidalies and Minister of State for Victim Assistance Juliette Meadel, as well as ambassadors of countries that had nationals on board of the plane will attend the meeting.
Representatives of EgyptAir, the French Justice Ministry, Paris prosecution and the French civil aviation's investigation and analysis Bureau will also be present in the meeting to answer questions of the families, the spokesman noted.
